I stumbled on this when i was trying to find out how I cna teach youth in my church cmmunity the 7 habits (there is a very poor reading culture in Uganda). I have been touched by how much you focused on emerging out of adversity and learning and sharing the rpinciples you got out of the book. Many youth in Uganda find themselves incacerated by unemployment, they seek to get out with no success. I will use your inspiration to further the teachings of Dr. Covey (who I am proud to share a name with). I request that you share with me your lesson plan so I can consult it when I start teaching. I am currently doing an online course on Instruction Designing and I know it will help me share with the youth here in Kampala Uganda at Katwe Matrys Church. You are my hero in many ways and I have learnt and will practice what I have learnt from this website. I am found of Mr. Covey's quote 'to know and not to do is realy not to know'.

Kindly,

I think you're a hero. You not only made some incredible lemonade when you had a truck load of lemons dumped in your lap, you shared that with others. The magnitude of adversity you had to overcome makes climbing Mount Everest seem like a walk up an ant hill! I salute you!
