Prison does extinguish hope because of different reasons. After not receiving letters and phone calls you hope would dwindle. Also after being in jail that long the outside world would seem different. The prison administration should at least have some type program that could help them have a better transition. Especially when it comes to them getting some type of employment. Usually after people cannot find a job they go back to their old ways. I agree with you Michael.
